Inspired by the 1998 film ‘The Players Club,’ the emerging artist immediately knew she wanted to incorporate Ronnie’s name in her own stage name. However, a friend of Ronnie Pearlz felt she needed to add another part to her name to ensure her audience knew her gender. So, to add a more feminine touch to her rap name, ‘Pearlz’ was tacked on to the end.
